Books + Records is a neighborhood bar + restaurant nestled in the heart of Bankers Hill. Through the lens of globally inspired American cuisine and carefully crafted cocktails, Books + Records provides an energetic, hospitality-focused experience, whether you are joining us for an excellent burger and a cold beer, or for a multi-course meal with all of the flourishes. With nightly happy hour, live music, a very comfortable bar and inspired design, our space is the perfect spot for any occasion.
The Position: Dishwasher
• Maintains a clean and organized dish area
• Maintains the cleanliness of common areas such as the walkways & storage areas
• Keep a proper inventory of all small wares and kitchen equipment
• Use of the appropriate cleaning supplies in order to maintain the quality of all small wares and flatware.
• Follow opening and closing procedures to maintain consistency in the dish area.
• Maintaining all equipment and dish areas such as the dish machine, 3-comp sink, and mop sink
• Arrives to all shifts on time and ready to work

• You are extremely dependable and have an exceptional attendance record
• You work efficiently in a high-paced environment
• You are extremely versatile and can adapt swiftly
• You are a team player and have excellent communication skills.
• You possess an intense sense of urgency
• You have previous dishwasher experience.
