I are seeking a dedicated and compassionate private teacher/caregiver for a 24-year-old male with low-functioning special needs, who currently operates at a toddler developmental level. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on an individual's life while providing care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implementing educational goals and strategies
• Providing behavior therapy and teaching appropriate replacement behaviors
• Assisting with therapy exercises and skill development
• Teaching communication skills and everyday tasks
• Engaging in interactive play and socialization
• Assisting with personal care (dressing, toileting, bathing)
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding
• Performing light housekeeping, including laundry and cooking
• Driving to scheduled activities and appointments
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in caregiving, teaching, or behavior therapy is preferred
• Familiarity with first aid and basic medical procedures is a plus
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges
• Must be able to pass a Live Scan background check

• Enjoyment in teaching and working with individuals with special needs
• Willingness to learn and apply ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy techniques
• Reliable and hard-working with the ability to work independently
• Strong organizational and housekeeping skills

Job Details:
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (please do not apply if you are unavailable during these hours)
• Occasional weekend and overnight availability required
• Starting Pay: $33 per hour, with potential for raises based on performance and attendance
• Expected Weekly Hours: 32.5 or more hours per week
