We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Senior Data Architect to lead the design, optimization, and governance of our cloud data architecture. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Snowflake, Informatica Cloud (IICS), and the Azure Data Stack, with a proven ability to deliver large-scale data integration, migration, and governance initiatives. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strategic leadership to drive our data-driven decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and lead end-to-end data architecture solutions using Snowflake, Informatica Cloud (IICS), and Azure Data Stack (including Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL).
- Oversee and execute large-scale data migrations, ensuring optimized workflows and best practices.
- Develop and implement data modeling techniques, creating scalable and efficient data warehouse structures.
- Optimize performance in Snowflake and Azure cloud platforms through clustering, caching, and workload management.
- Establish robust data governance frameworks, including data quality, security, and compliance protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data pipelines and workflows across Azure and Snowflake environments.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in cloud data architecture to shape future-proof solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in data architecture, with a focus on Snowflake, Informatica Cloud (IICS), and the Azure Data Stack (e.g., Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks).
- Proven track record of leading large-scale data migration projects (e.g., Teradata to Snowflake, on-prem to Azure).
- Strong expertise in data modeling, including star and snowflake schemas.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes, performance optimization, and pipeline automation in Azure Data Factory and Informatica Cloud.
- In-depth understanding of data governance and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Knowledge of emerging trends in cloud architecture, such as Data Mesh, serverless computing, and hybrid cloud strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications in Snowflake, Informatica Cloud, or Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Data Engineer or Azure Solutions Architect).
- Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) and metadata management.
- Familiarity with AI/ML integration in cloud data workflows.
