Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken restaurants in Oakland is hiring a Butcher to trim cases of 8-piece pre-cut chicken (12 heads per case). The location of the restaurant is:

Training would begin immediately.
We receive 2 deliveries per week, on Monday and Thursday, usually in the morning. We receive an estimated 36 cases per week. Compensation would be $5.50/case processed. Therefore, weekly compensation would be approximately $198/week. The butcher would only work 2 days per week (the day of the delivery). Each of the days will be roughly 4-5 hours worth of work.
Significant prior butchering experience with superior knife skills is a requirement. We kindly ask that the position not be applied for if lacking the necessary experience and skillset.
The candidate must be a U.S. citizen with a valid taxpayer ID # (Social Security Number).
The candidate should have a valid driver’s license and a dependable vehicle.
The candidate should have a reliable means of transportation.
As this is a 1099 independent contractor position, there would be no tax withholdings. Payments will be made Bi-weekly. You are free to deduct any personal expenses for your own tax purposes (mileage, tools, apparel, etc). You would also have the flexibility to set your own hours within reason.
