Deburring/Detail Technician
Duties/Responsibilities – Other duties may be assigned
- Removing of sharp edges on precision machined metal parts
- Sand and Scotch bright using orbital sanders/die grinders, etc.
- Washing and cleaning parts
- Visual inspection for scratches/dings and defects
- Communicate with supervisors for priorities and cosmetic issues
Job Skills:
- Requires individuals to be very detail oriented with a thorough understanding of metal working tools, both mechanical and manual
- Must be able to read and understand part drawings with special attention to surface finish requirements and edge breaks
Desired Education/Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent qualification required
- Quick learner
- Team player and work well with others
- Good communication
- Bilingual
- Strong work ethic
- Use of orbital sanders/deburring wheels and scotch bright bits.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift/or move up to 50 pounds
The base salary range for this full-time position is $21.73 - $36.92 hourly. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training.
