ResponsibilitiesWe're growing quickly in Japan and looking to bring on our first in market Talent Acquisition Partner, with a focus on building out our campus and early career recruiting programmes:
Key focus areas:
Campus Recruitment:
Develop and execute campus recruitment strategies to attract early-career talent across various business functions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, colleges, and other academic institutions.
Represent the company at career fairs, campus events, and other student-focused initiatives.
Coordinate internship and graduate programs, including designing recruitment campaigns, screening candidates, and onboarding.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand talent needs across departments.
Advise on best practices for recruiting and selecting candidates to meet business objectives.
Work closely with HR and People teams to ensure alignment with broader talent strategies.
Recruitment Process Management:
Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to offer negotiation.
Leverage creative sourcing techniques, including social media, networking, and employee referrals, to identify high-potential candidates.
Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and a professional approach.
Market Insights and Compliance:
Stay informed about hiring trends, market conditions, and competitive practices in Japan’s talent market.
Ensure all recruitment activities comply with Japanese labor laws and company policies
RequirementsQualifications / Experience / Soft Skills
Language Skills: Native or fluent Japanese (spoken and written) is essential. Business-level English proficiency is also required as you will be working with international colleagues.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on campus hiring or early career talent acquisition.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and nurture relationships across diverse groups.
Proficiency in recruitment technologies and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
