Job Description: Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator
Reports To: Facilities Manager
Hours: Flexible and changeable weekday and weekend schedules
FLSA Status: Full Time – Non-exempt
Facilities staff work as a team, led by Facilities Manager, with a focus on keeping the building in highest-quality condition and maintaining campus as a whole (grounds, buildings) as appropriate for a historic landmark; handle logistics as assigned for various events such as weddings, theatre productions, corporate events. Make general repairs throughout the property as needed. Perform duties as prescribed by the calendar of events. Must be able to work irregular schedules weekly, including weekends and evenings. Schedule of assignments is campus-wide, includes Club House, Theatre and Garden. Facilities Coordinator will:
• Move outdoor and indoor furniture, rugs and artwork for event set-up and filming, as well as day-to-day needs
• Assist Ebell members and staff as needed
• Maintain, preserve and restore building and grounds by cleaning, painting, handling simple plumbing and electrical repairs, and other related maintenance activities, as needed
• Duties include but are not limited to:
o daily cleaning of all areas including restrooms
o maintenance
o set-up of campus
o HVAC
o floor and tile maintenance
o trash
o furniture upkeep
o landscaping
o fire and burglar alarms
o facilities workshop and office
o employee and member offices
o Parking attendant
• Notify supervisor of the need for repairs and/or the need for outside professional help for repairs and larger projects. Work with repair and maintenance vendors to resolve issues
• Address security issues and notify supervisor of any incidents
• Care for the campus proactively, and (verbally) respond quickly when called on radio
• Monitor supply inventory to assure full stock of maintenance, janitorial items, and Arrowhead water containers for offices
• As needed and assigned, work with site reps to ensure the careful and proper use of buildings by film and TV production companies
• As assigned, provide facilities support for club and special events, working with Special Events, Banquets and Security teams to ensure successful events
• Adhere to all company safety program procedures

Please Note: Schedule changes weekly, weekend and evening work required, hours can be early or late as needed for events; overtime is discouraged, and must be approved in advance by Facilities Manager.
