This role involves managing administrative tasks and workload overflow for attorneys and other legal staff. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff
• Process incoming and outgoing mail, and maintain client files
• Assist with document organization for complex matters
• Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and events
• Provide coverage during absences
• Assist with billing, expense reconciliation, and check requests
• Operate standard office equipment, such as photocopiers, computers, etc.
• Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate possesses:
• Strong organization skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, solve problems, and take initiative
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Skills in maintaining and organizing case files and other documents according to established guidelines and procedures
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy including ability to proofread material for contextual, grammatical, typographical, and spelling errors
• Working knowledge of Windows-based environment, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat
