What You'll Do:

Create deliverables for substation P&C projects, collaborating with internal multidiscipline teams from assisting with scope estimating and proposals, through detailed design and equipment procurement, to project construction bidding, to commissioning support and construction support for energization
Produce P&C design drawings, including Relaying/Functional One-Lines, Three-Lines, AC/DC Schematics, Panel Views, BOM, Wiring Diagrams, and Station Communication & Alarm Diagrams
Perform studies and calculations to properly design substation P&C schemes, including battery bank sizing calculations, wire/cable ampacity, as well as AC & DC load centers

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent
2+ years of substation P&C engineering experience related to electrical power substation design for Coops, Municipalities, and/or IOUs
Knowledge of IEEE standards as related to P&C design
Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% when needed within the continental U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

EIT certification
Experience with Bluebeam
