What we do:

The Senior Benefits Specialist is responsible for assisting with the administration of all benefits and retirement programs. These programs include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, 401k plans and employee perks. The Senior Benefits Specialist will work closely with the Human Resources and Payroll teams to ensure that all benefits needs are met and properly communicated to ensure a seamless experience for all employees.
What you can do:

Ensure the accuracy of all benefits enrollments, providing vendors with accurate eligibility information
Ensure compliance with DOL, COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, ERISA and any other applicable Federal, State, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, obtaining qualified opinions, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
Assist with new-hire orientations
Perform quality checks of benefits-related data
Assist employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes
Distribute all benefits enrollment materials and determines eligibility
Enroll employees with carriers and process life status changes
Respond to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries
Process and administer leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork inclusive of medical, personal, disability and FMLA
Effectively interpret FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities
Respond to retirement inquiries from managers and employees relating to enrollments, plan changes, loans and contribution amounts
Assist with the annual catch-up contribution enrollment
Assist with the organization's retirement plan including ongoing compliance, testing, and plan review
Assist with the open enrollment process
Provide necessary reports for allocation/billing charges
Ensure the accuracy and compliance of all benefits-related filings
Perform other duties as assigned
Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally

What you can contribute:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or Human Resources related discipline
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience working in a benefits administration capacity (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered for this role)
Experience in ADP Workforce Now
Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism,
Ability to treat confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations related to employee benefits
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems

You may also be able to contribute:

HR certification preferred
Experience with Zendesk and Bswift is a plus

Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of total compensation.

The pay range for this position is:

$110,391-$122,011 USD
