Montesacro Pinseria, San Francisco's first and most celebrated Pinsa Romana restaurant, is seeking an exceptional Pizza Maker to join our award-winning team. As the pioneers who introduced authentic Roman-style pinsa to the United States a decade ago, we've built our reputation on excellence, innovation, and tradition.
About the Role
Transform your passion for pizza-making into artistry at our celebrated SoMa location. You'll work with our proprietary dough recipe, premium ingredients, and state-of-the-art electric ovens to create distinctive pinsas that have earned us recognition throughout the Bay Area.
What You'll Do
Lead daily pizza operations, including dough preparation, topping selection, and quality control
Create innovative seasonal specials that showcase local ingredients
Maintain our zero-waste kitchen principles through thoughtful ingredient management
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
Ensure consistent quality and presentation across all dishes
What You Bring
5+ years of proven pizza-making experience
Mastery of electric ovens (experience with wood-fired and brick ovens is a plus)
Strong leadership abilities and excellent time management skills
Dedication to sustainability and waste reduction
Passion for Italian cuisine and culinary innovation
