Overview
We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a strong work ethic to support Department of Defense (DoD) programs and projects at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. The position requires over 7 years of experience in cost analysis/cost estimating. Successful candidates will have excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills in addition to the following skills/experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct EVM and/or cost data analyses and develop cost estimates for Life Cycle Cost Estimates, Program Office budgets, Contract Proposals, and other cost products as requested
- Conduct monthly/quarterly analysis on cost-related CDRLs submitted by industry partners
- Provide analytical support for program controls and reporting, and financial execution and budgets
- Coordinate and defend results with and across other organizations and contractors
Skills Required
- Bachelors Degree required, preferably in mathematics, statistics, engineering, economics, or business
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in cost estimating software (e.g. ACEIT, Crystal Ball)
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, regulations, and best practices pertaining to cost estimating and/or Earned Value Management (EVM) for fixed-wing aircraft Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAPs)
- Life cycle cost estimate development, risk/uncertainty analysis, and model documentation
- Cost and Software Data Reporting (CSDR) and Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report (IPMDAR) contract requirements development and data analysis
- Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development with MIL-STD-881 background for fixed-wing aircraft systems
- Experience with proposal analysis and preparing EVM and/or cost-related Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)
- DoD Secret Clearance
Education
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
