Clark Schaefer Strategic HR has a part-time opportunity with a non-profit client looking for a Finance Manager to join their team who will be responsible for all aspects of financial operations. This position provides accounting, budgetary, operational and programmatic support to programs and activities and serves as the primary contact for fiscal, contractual matters, proposals for new or extended programs and new business development.
The Finance Manager will:
- Manage fiscal operations and ensure financial health by overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Interpret financial reports to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Implement risk management strategies to safeguard financial assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with organizational objectives.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance specific to non-profits.
- Drive financial efficiency and optimize processes to enhance overall financial performance.
- Process bi-monthly payroll.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with Non-Profit organizations is essential.
- Experience in the Medical Field, a plus
- Strong knowledge and experience with QuickBooks.
- Demonstrated ability in general bookkeeping and financial record-keeping.
- Proven experience in processing payroll.
- Experience in grant writing is a plus but not required.
- MBA and/or Certified Public Accountant designation is a plus.
- Paycor experience preferred.
