Position DescriptionWe are looking for an Azure Data Engineer, who is experienced in designing data pipelines using various Azure components, and experienced with Python for data processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, excellent project management skills, and the ability to liaise effectively between various stakeholders including engineers, marketing professionals, and management.
This role will primarily be focused on working with the customer to understand requirements, participate in design discussions, and driving the pipeline design and development. This role will customer facing, but will also be heavily hands on developing data pipelines. You will also be coordinating with an offshore team as well.
Core Tech Stack: Azure Data Factory, Azure Function, Snowflake, Python, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, etc.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Developing and implementing ETL processes & data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure functions, python, snowflake, and other relevant tools.
- Implementing and managing Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, and other Azure data storage solutions.
- Serving as the primary point of contact between the onsite team and offsite/remote teams.
- Coordinating and managing data engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with marketing goals and objectives.
- Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and documentation.
- Communicating effectively with marketing team members, data engineers, and senior management to gather requirements and provide regular updates.
- Facilitating meetings, presentations, and discussions to align project objectives with business needs.
- Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of big data solutions, ensuring best practices in data management and engineering are followed.
- Collaborating with the data engineering team to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses.
- Designing solutions based on near real-time architecture.
- Identifying and resolve technical and operational issues that arise during the course of projects.
- Ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with industry best practices and organizational standards.
- Utilizing Azure Databricks and other tools for data transformation and processing.
- Optimizing queries and data processing workflows for performance and efficiency.
Must Have Skills:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ Years of Experience in Data Integration platform on cloud (Azure)
- In-depth knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Databricks, and other relevant Azure services.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or other scripting languages.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Azure cloud technologies
- Knowledge on GitHub Integration with Azure DevOps
- Experience working with and coordinating with global offshore teams
- Experience liaising between customers & stakeholders including engineers, marketing professionals, and management.
