Long Road Traffic Control llc is looking for certified flaggers for immediate start! Experience is a plus but not necessary.
MUST HAVE A VALID OREGON FLAGGER CARD and a valid drivers license from any state. If you are certified to flag in Oregon we can train you if you have no experience.
Very competitive wages with a $500 sign on bonus available after 90 days. Details available upon request.
Must be willing and able to join the IBEW local 125. We pay all union dues for the first 90 days.
Our pay rate is $24.11 per hour with experience. Annual raises guaranteed.
Pay rate with no experience is $20.09 per with raise available after 30 days depending on progress. Annual raises guaranteed.
We pay every Friday. Medical benefits are available after 90 days of full time employment. Retirement benefits and vacation pay are available after 1 year of full time employment.
The position varies from part to full time depending on work available. Must be available to work weekdays. Overtime is sometimes required without notice. You will always receive a minimum 4 hours each day you show up for work. (plus drive time if applicable)
If you are the lead flagger/truck driver, the position would provide you a company truck for your use on the job and to commute to the jobsite with all expenses covered. We currently have an opening for truck driver. Must have experience to qualify for this position.
Must have reliable transportation. Most of our jobs are in rural areas.
Criminal background check is required. We do hire people with felony records. Length of time since conviction and crimes committed will be determinate factors.
If you have not flagged before, it is a physically demanding job. Must be able to stay on your feet for long periods of time with limited to no breaks on some jobs. Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Carrying and setting cones requires you to be able to lift 25 pounds on a regular basis.
