We are seeking a friendly, organized, and experienced hostess to join our team at Bobo's. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a restaurant setting, specifically in hosting, and familiarity with OpenTable reservation software.
Responsibilities:
* Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, ensuring an enjoyable dining experience.
* Manage reservations and waitlists using OpenTable.
* Answer phones, take reservations, and assist guests with any inquiries.
* Maintain the host stand area, ensuring it is clean and organized at all times.
* Work closely with the FOH and BOH to ensure smooth service flow.
* Assist in managing guest flow during busy periods, ensuring wait times are minimized.
* Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest needs and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
Requirements:
* Prior experience as a hostess in a restaurant setting is required.
* Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a must.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Positive attitude and team player.
* Must be reliable and punctual.
* Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
