The following duties are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this position. ـ Maintain open communication with Foreman to ensure proper completion of project
ـ Must be effective in operation of digging and grading equipment
ـ Must have pipe experience. Footing drains, rain drains, water, sewer, storm, etc.
ـ Ability to understand and follow grade. Must have experience working with subcontractors and setting up grade and prepping for curbs, asphalt, concrete, etc.
ـ Maintain work areas are free of debris to ensure safety. Good housekeeping is a must
ـ Ensure crews fuel, grease, and maintain general operation of equipment daily
ـ Understanding of soil types and knowledge of shoring, bracing, and sloping.
ـ Daily work plans, reports, timecards, truck tickets, etc.
ـ Help ensure the safety of our team– Everyone is responsible for safety!
