Who We Are:
We're a family in Fresno, CA, looking for a compassionate, energetic, and dependable caregiver to work with our children, including one with special needs. If you have a heart for kids and enjoy creating playful, nurturing environments, we’d love to hear from you!
Your Role:
You'll be a trusted companion and guide, engaging children in play-based activities, supporting their social growth, and providing light tutoring. Your role is essential in fostering a safe, positive, and fun environment.
Who We're Looking For:
• Someone with experience or a strong interest in working with children with diverse needs, including autism or developmental differences.
• A caregiver who can set gentle but firm boundaries while building meaningful relationships.
• A clear communicator who thrives in collaborative environments.
Who You'll Be Working With:
• Children (ages 8-12) and teens (13-17), including one with special needs.
Qualifications (Just One of the Following):
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Child Development, or Adolescent Development.
• Experience as a mentor, coach, teacher, counselor, or in a similar role.
• Personal or professional experience with child welfare, mental health, or special needs caregiving.
Key Skills We Value:
• Understanding of children’s unique needs, especially in a home.
• The ability to stay calm, creative, and solution-focused under pressure.
• A warm, empathetic approach to caregiving.
What We Offer:
• Hours: 20-29 hours per week
• Pay: $19 to $30 per hour (based on experience)
• Overtime Pay for Overnight Shifts and more than 8 hours per day.
• Schedule: Flexible 2-4 hour shifts, including weekends/holidays as needed
• Worker’s Compensation Insurance Provided and Payroll taxes withheld with W-2 at end of year.
