Position Summary:
Blvd Electric Inc. is seeking an organized, proactive, and dedicated Assistant Project Manager to join our team. The APM will play a vital role in supporting the project management team by coordinating tasks related to purchasing, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation, helping ensure the seamless execution of commercial electrical construction projects. Key Responsibilities:
Support Project Managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projects.
Oversee documentation and paperwork, ensuring that all project records are accurate and up to date.
Prepare and manage RFIs, monitor responses, and update project plans accordingly.
Assist with procurement, coordinating material orders and tracking deliveries.
Review and organize change orders, ensuring that all modifications are documented and billed accurately.
Facilitate clear communication between project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Conduct site visits to verify project progress and assist with scheduling and logistics.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
2+ years of experience in project coordination, construction, or a related field.(preferred).
Knowledge of electrical systems and commercial construction processes is highly desirable.(preferred).
Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
