Position Summary:
We are looking for dedicated and friendly servers to provide an outstanding dining experience for our guests. As a server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, friendly demeanor.
- Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guests' preferences.
- Take and input orders accurately into the TOAST system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately.
- Ensure that tables are clean, set, and ready for the next guests.
- Address any customer inquiries or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely food delivery.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Uphold restaurant standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and customs is a plus.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong multitasking skills and a positive attitude.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
- California Food Handle certification holder is preferred.
