20-year eCommerce company seeks an experienced and dedicated accounting/HR/Payroll professional to maintain and interpret all company financial and personnel records. This person will be responsible for various economic tasks crucial to the success of our business. They will also help with onboarding and ongoing support of employees at the company.
Objectives of this role
• Perform accounting duties adhering to established standards
• Manage accounts receivable, minimal cash POS transactions
• Manage the accounts payable
• Perform Bi-weekly payroll
• Help uphold the integrity of the company’s finances
• Ensure that the company adheres to applicable local and national regulations that impact finances
• Examine financial statements and records to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Support our tax professionals in preparing quarterly estimates and annual returns
• Inspect and update all documentation and systems related to accounting and company finances
• Help establish company best practices related to accounting
• Proficiency with QuickBooks
• Knowledge of standard accounting and bookkeeping principles and best practices
• Experience with ADP payroll system
• Support the company in established HR procedures and keep current on new policies and procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of company financial information
