Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Parts Inventory Specialist to manage, organize, and track salvaged motorcycle parts. This role is responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory, processing parts for resale, and coordinating with mechanics, sales teams, and customers. The ideal candidate has experience in inventory management, knowledge of motorcycle parts, and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Maintain and update an accurate record of all salvaged motorcycle parts.
Parts Identification & Cataloging: Properly identify, tag, and catalog motorcycle parts for resale or distribution.
Stock Organization: Organize and store parts efficiently in the warehouse for easy access.
Quality Control: Inspect salvaged parts for usability and determine their resale value.
Order Processing: Assist in fulfilling customer and dealer orders, ensuring correct parts are shipped.
Coordination with Sales & Mechanics: Work closely with the sales team and technicians to provide necessary parts for repairs or resale.
Receiving & Sorting: Oversee the intake of new inventory, ensuring proper documentation and placement.
Data Entry & Reporting: Maintain digital records of inventory levels, parts movement, and sales trends.
Loss Prevention & Compliance: Ensure all inventory is accounted for and secure, minimizing losses or misplaced items.
Customer Support: Assist customers in finding and purchasing the correct motorcycle parts.
Qualifications & Skills:
✅ Experience: 1-3 years in inventory management, warehouse operations, or motorcycle parts handling.
✅ Knowledge of Motorcycle Parts: Familiarity with motorcycle components, brands, and models is preferred.
✅ Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage and track large inventories efficiently.
✅ Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately label and document parts to prevent errors.
✅ Computer Skills: Experience using inventory software, spreadsheets, and digital cataloging tools.
✅ Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move motorcycle parts (up to 50 lbs) and work in a warehouse setting.
✅ Communication Skills: Ability to work with sales, mechanics, and customers effectively.
✅ Forklift Certification (Preferred): Experience operating warehouse equipment is a plus.
