Position Title: Fabricator/Machinist
Location: Yakima, WA
Employment Type: Full-Time or Part Time if available
Pay: $17 - $23 per hour (Depends on Experience)
Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly, every Friday
Reports To: Shop Supervisor / Office Manager / President

Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Fabricator/Machinist to join our team. This role involves working with precision tools and machinery to fabricate and assemble components that meet strict quality standards. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and demonstrate a commitment to excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain manual and CNC machining equipment, such as lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication of parts.
• Perform welding, cutting, and shaping of metal components using various techniques and tools. As well as Power
tools, wood tools if needed.
• Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments, including calipers and Tape measures
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
• Adhere to company safety standards and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Keep detailed records of work performed, materials used, and time allocation.
Qualifications:
• Experience as a fabricator, machinist, or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Proficiency in operating manual and CNC machines, with an understanding of tooling and setup.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
• Welding experience (MIG, TIG, or stick) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical capability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification in machining, fabrication, or welding from a recognized institution.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or process improvement initiatives.
