Northwest Justice Project (NJP) is a not-for-profit statewide law firm with a mission of Combating Injustice • Strengthening Communities • Protecting Human Dignity. NJP secures justice for people in or near poverty through high quality legal advocacy that promotes the long-term well-being of low-income individuals, families and communities through legal representation, community partnerships, education, and other advocacy.
NJP is a statewide team law firm and the Farmworker Unit (FWU) staff work in close cooperation with program attorneys, staff and other providers to bring high quality representation and a broad range of advocacy tools to address client needs in multiple forums.
NJP seeks applications from interested individuals for the position of Outreach Worker. The Outreach Worker will work as part of NJP’s Farmworker Unit (FWU). The FWU is based in Eastern Washington and provides legal assistance to low-income agricultural workers throughout Washington. NJP is especially interested in qualified candidates with professional, personal and/or service experience that allows them to contribute to and support the legal aid community’s commitment to race equity.
The FWU Outreach Worker will be assigned to NJP’s Yakima or Wenatchee location. This is a full-time position.
