Rantec Microwave Systems has an immediate opening for an experienced CNC Programmer with expertise in Mastercam software. The ideal candidate will play a key role in programming and optimizing CNC machine programs for the production of high-quality microwave components.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and modify CNC programs using the latest version of Mastercam software.
• Select appropriate tools, cutting paths, speeds and feed to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with the Engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Run set up piece and make any necessary adjustments to the program to ensure optimal performance and compliant hardware.
• Maintain and update program and tooling library.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, technical documents and specifications.
• Familiarity with Haas and Fadal CNC Machines.
• Detail oriented with commitment to producing high quality work.
• Must have own tools.
EXPERIENCE:
• Must have 5 years of CNC Programming experience.
• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer with proficiency in Mastercam software.
The ability to obtain a Security Clearance will be required to perform duties associated with this position.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• The ability to lift up to 25 lbs
