We are a leading Plumbing and Air Conditioning company, specializing in new construction residential projects throughout the Las Vegas area. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Superintendent to help lead our Residential Custom Home Plumbing Division.
Position Overview:
The Project Superintendent will oversee field aspects of plumbing residential projects. This role requires strong leadership and extensive knowledge of plumbing systems. Able to coordinate with the Project Management Team, Contractors, Vendors and Engineers, to facilitate effective communication. The ideal candidate will focus on project scheduling, design assistance and layout, coordinating staffing requirements, and ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and supervise plumbing field operations across multiple projects
• Develop, maintain, and adjust project schedules to ensure timely completion
• Coordinate staffing needs with foremen, ensuring appropriate crew allocation for each phase of the project
• Collaborate with general superintendent, project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to maintain
effective communication and workflow
• Review blueprints, builders’ options, piping layout and specification to ensure accurate installations
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Lead and mentor a team of foremen, plumbers, and apprentices
• Oversee job site logistics and scheduling
• Assist in the procurement of material orders and deliveries from vendors
• Monitor project progress and address any challenges or delays
• Ensure that all plumbing work meets or exceeds industry standards and project specifications
• Provide technical support and problem-solving expertise as needed
• Participate in regular project meetings and communicate updates to senior management
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in plumbing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
• High end residential single-family custom experience
• Strong understanding of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Proven experience in project scheduling and staffing coordination
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Journeyman plumbing license; Nevada State Journeymen preferred
• OSHA 30-hour certification
