Eide Industries, Inc. is an award-winning manufacturer of architecturally designed shade structures, tensioned fabric structures, commercial pool cabanas, transport trailer canopy systems, and industrial awnings & canopies. We are searching for a detail-oriented individual with great verbal & communication skills for the Shipping & Receiving position. This position will ensure incoming and outgoing products and materials are properly received, recorded, stored, packaged and/or shipped in a safe, cost-efficient, accurate and timely manner. Training will be provided.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Must adhere to safety rules and regulations at all times.
• Coordinate and schedule all shipments, freight and will-call orders.
• Receive, record and store incoming products and materials.
• Package, crate, palletize and document outgoing orders.
• Prepare and provide necessary shipping documentation.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Delivery and pick-up of orders, materials and supplies with company vehicles.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Shipping experience with knowledge of UPS, FedEx, LTL, BOL’s, etc.
• Excellent communication and planning skills with exceptional focus on timing and details.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Clean DMV driving record.
• Bilingual in English & Spanish, a plus.
• Ability to drive a forklift, a plus.
