Maplebear Inc. D/B/A Instacart in San Francisco, CA seeks Senior Associate, Market Strategy & Planning (Multiple Openings).
Responsibilities: Responsible for identifying and triaging key marketing and business issues and roadblocks using both qualitative and quantitative analysis and solving for those issues to support partner growth and scalability within the Instacart platform. Duties include: conducting market research and quantitative analysis to identify new offerings and opportunities; creating and tracking key performance indicators to extract meaningful business insights; converting complex data sets into analytical reports and visualizations to support strategic initiatives to grow retail partnerships; developing data models and statistical techniques to analyze large quantities of data and translating retailer insights to inform product strategy, program tracking, and performance forecasting; preparing marketing plans, process documentation, and go-to-market motions for in-store technology solutions; presenting analytical insights and recommendations for growth and scalability to cross-functional internal teams and external retail partners; and other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental United States but will report directly to Instacart headquarters in San Francisco, CA.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, or related field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: 2 years of experience in the job offered or related. Other special requirements include: 2 years of experience conducting market research and qualitative analyses of high volumes of data to create actionable insights and plans for growth and customer satisfaction; 2 years of experience presenting strategic marketing recommendations based on analysis of high volumes of market data to stakeholders; 2 years of experience working with programming languages, such as Python, SQL, or related; and 2 years of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and related, and Google productivity tools, including Google Sheets and related.
