Maplebear Inc. D/B/A Instacart in San Francisco, CA seeks Marketplace Operations Team Lead (Multiple Openings).
Responsibilities: Analyze market operations data to extract and provide tactical and strategic insights for order fulfillment operations. Duties include: conducting quantitative analysis of market trends and performance data to uncover actionable insights on areas of performance impacting cross-functional teams and stakeholders; analyzing market drivers, user feedback, performance metrics, and fulfillment logistics to develop metric-based processes to meet objectives; designing data experiments and incrementality tests to analyze outcomes and ensure the reliability of marketplace insights and efficiency metrics; assisting in the development of market launch work-streams and other logistics-related initiatives; and other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental United States but will report directly to Instacart headquarters in San Francisco, CA.
Education: Bachelor’s degree* in Marketing, Business Analytics, or related analytical field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: 2* years of experience in the job offered or related. Other special requirements include: 2 years of experience working with SQL, R, and similar languages to extract business analytics and data-driven recommendations; 2 years of experience developing analytical dashboards for business teams; 2 years of experience designing data models and experiments to analyze business operations and performance indicators; and 2 years of experience using statistical packages and scripts to automate data extraction and cleaning processes.
*In lieu of a bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related, employer will accept candidates with no degree and at least 4 years of experience in the job offered or related, including 2 years of experience with each of the required special skills.
