Responsibilities: The Retail Loan Funding Closer ensures the accurate and compliant disbursement of first mortgage loans. Key responsibilities include:
- Commute to Moorpark and work in office
- Reviewing and verifying executed loan closing documents for accuracy and consistency
- Ensuring compliance with company and investor policies
- Clearing Prior to Funding approval conditions
- Authorizing disbursement of funds
- Performing additional duties as assigned
- Aligning with the organization's culture and values
Qualifications:
Must be able to commute to Moorpark and work in office (remote Not offered)
- Previous mortgage banking experience preferred, with knowledge of the lending process
- Proficient in Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail, team player, and able to work independently
- Ability to deliver timely, accurate information in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical skills
- Financial services or mortgage industry experience preferred
- Strong business acumen and ability to work with executive management
