Job Summary
Performs the physical labor in construction and installation of roofing systems. Provides oversight in the field and communication to installation management to implement project plans. Assures productivity and quality standards are met on construction projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include the following, other duties may be assigned:
1. Communicates with installation manager on project requirements and objectives.
2. Follow instructions of foreman or installation manager.
3. Works together with crew to display teamwork and positive interactions.
4. Confirms supplies or materials are available to complete construction projects. Notifies foreman or installation manager on any shortages.
5. Follows proper techniques to install types of roofing assigned and/or trained on.
6. Adheres to all set safety policies including attending weekly toolbox talks and following advice.
7. Works productively on a regular basis. Checks in with leadership on performance.
8. Uses all equipment and tooling safely including vehicles.
9. Maintains clean and organized work area including insides, beds, and toolboxes of company vehicles.
10. Installs roofing to meet quality/construction standards.
11. Works with project team to identify and resolve problems.
12. Shows up to work sites and/or assigned locations on time.
13. Daily clocking in and out as required including Exaktime or daily logs on piece work. Approve weekly timecards on time.
