Vern's Lounge is looking for a good natured bartender who enjoys people and excellent customer service skills, 3-4 shifts per week. Looking for someone long-term. Shifts run 8:30-6 pm and 6 pm-1:30/2:00 a.m.
Ideal candidate:
Punctual and reliable**
Legible handwriting
Can get to work on time, non-smoker, non-drinker on shift :)
Personable and professional with customers and co-workers
Willing to train but experience preferred
Willing to go the extra mile covering other shifts when needed
Someone who can move and work fast
Available immediately
Duties include:
Opening and/or closing the bar alone;
Keeping the workstation sanitary and tidy;
Cocktail creation, pouring beer, talking with customers;
TIPS certification or comparable training
Probationary period $7/hour + tips, raise to $8 + tips after 3 months
