Your area of focus. The Canadian Operations Manager is typically responsible for overseeing and managing operations related to hailstorm damage, insurance claims, and related processes. The role involves coordinating the assessment and repair of vehicles and properties affected by hail, ensuring smooth communication between customers, insurance adjusters, contractors and other stakeholders.
What drives your day-to-day?- Location management to ensure repairs are completed on time while maximizing shop efficiency
- Claim Management
- Manage Direct reports
- Manage professional relationships with suppliers, clients, and dealerships
- Estimate hail damage to vehicle and review repair plan
- Travel required to various clients / Hail Locations
- Oversee the quality of repair and ensure they meet standards
What are the must-haves...- Bodyshop and or hail repair experience (2-3 years)
- Knowledge of the PDR/Hail Repair Process an asset
- Estimation experience using Mitchell and Audatex/Qapter
- Ability to travel across Canada is required, based on business needs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- French is an asset
