Opportunity Overview
Reporting to the Marketing Director and working with the Marketing and Digital Services team, the Marketing Manager will plan, manage, execute, and analyze a variety of local restaurant, digital service and social media marketing initiatives. The position will work closely with Marketing, Digital Services, Operations, Field Teams and Franchisees. This role is integral in growing our business by overseeing and directing various marketing programs and campaigns geared at driving sales and building brand awareness for brands that Bluestone Hospitality manages.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Oversee and coordinate marketing campaigns, working with and instructing internal and external stakeholders to ensure that activities are being executed consistently across content and brand initiatives
• Maintain marketing calendars, schedules and tracking sheets for all marketing vehicles and manage communication to the field
• Lead email and SMS text marketing strategy for several of the brands and lead the roll out of new email club and text message platforms
• Manage roll out of menus and marketing materials for the restaurants by working with graphics agency, placing orders with printers, coordinating shipping and verifying receipt with the stores
• Work with Digital Services, IT, Operation's leaders and restaurants to communicate and ensure successful roll outs of marketing campaigns and menu roll outs
• Primary support contact for all local marketing needs including collateral, events, grassroots marketing, fundraising programs, outreach and new store openings
• Manage, organize and coordinate shipping of all marketing collateral as needed to the stores and work with our fulfillment service partner for select brands to ensure stores get their marketing materials (menus, POP, gift cards, bonus cards, etc)
• Collaborate with graphic agencies and direct them to create digital media artwork for digital and print campaigns
• Manage marketing vendors, such as graphic agencies, radio and direct mail companies by preparing agreements, providing campaign instruction and coordinating payment with Accounts Payable
• Oversee TV ad campaigns, including creation of TV ads, managing of photoshoots, scheduling ads with TV agency, managing payment, communicating campaign schedules to field and analyzing results
• Maintain restaurant website content and work with Digital Services to ensure all marketing campaigns are successfully implemented online
• Assist in managing guest feedback and resolving guest concerns
• Monitor marketing campaign budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
What We Are Looking For / Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of Marketing Experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Strong organizational skills and ability to independently plan and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a timely manner
• Strong leadership skills with ability to manage other team members and work with agencies
• Detail-oriented with ability to catch mistakes or errors (disclaimers, menus, etc.)
• A talent for working with others and communicating effectively both in writing and verbally
• Experience with Email marketing services
• Experience with social media tools, platforms, apps, and SMS
• Fit to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Adobe programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is a plus
