Then this will be a fun gig and an easy way to make $200 for a one-hour meeting.
Be interviewed for a popular YouTube channel (2 million subscribers) talking about your profession for a segment called “Real People in LA.” where we interview people in LA talking about their jobs. We will only use about 5 or 7 minutes of the footage.
It’s for an educational channel that teaches advanced English to viewers all over the world and gives them a glimpse what it’s like to live and work in LA.
REQUIREMENTS:
a. Send a link where we can see you and hear you talking.
OR:
b. Create and send a short video (1 or 2 minutes) introducing yourself and describing your job. Include any interesting facts that we could ask you about during the interview.
You MUST: Be a native speaker of American English, speak clearly and feel comfortable speaking in front of the camera.
Typical questions you will be asked:
- Describe what you do.
- What is your favorite part of your job?
- How does one get into the field? What are the stressful aspects of it?
- What does your typical workday look like?
- Your future goals or anything else you'd like to share about yourself.
We will film in a conference room in West Los Angeles, or in a nearby park.
