Role Overview
As an Electronics and Software Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of electronic systems, firmware, and software for innovative tactile sensing products. You’ll work on new projects from conception to first article, ensuring reliability and precision at every step.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop electronic systems and firmware for tactile sensing applications.
Integrate hardware and software components into cohesive, functional systems.
Plan, execute, and document project steps to develop reliable first-article prototypes.
Develop and maintain firmware and software to optimize system performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, firmware, and software issues.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful system integration.
Maintain organized documentation of designs, processes, and progress.
Contribute to transitioning prototypes into scalable, manufacturable products.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in electronics, firmware, and software development.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in:
Electronics design and testing.
Firmware development and embedded systems programming.
Software integration and systems engineering.
Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, firmware, and software domains.
Documentation Skills: Ability to create clear, detailed, and organized records.
Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary teamwork.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (preferred).
