Essential Duties Include: (Restaurant Servers)
• Attend to customers upon entrance
• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
• Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
• Take and serve orders
• Knowledge of the Menu, answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Issue bills and accept payment Required Qualifications:
Essential Bartender Duties includes:
• Verifying identification and age requirements of customers
• Mixing traditional and creative cocktails
• Processing payment from customers
• Cleaning glasses and bar utensils – maintaining the area clean
• Making suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
• Opening and maintaining tabs throughout their shift
• Building a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere
Required Qualifications:
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure; detail-oriented, organized and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Stamina to stand and walk throughout shifts.
• Ability to communicate in English with management and co-workers to their understanding.
• Able to work various shifts, including evening, weekend shifts and holidays
• Prior experience as a server would be advantageous.
• (Restaurant Servers) Requires One (1) year Server Experience
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, often including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and regularly lift up and move to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 40 pounds.
• Frequently required to use hand-to-finger motions, handle or feel objects, and reach with hands and arms.
• Able to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting.
