We are looking for a hard-working skilled rough carpenter with a knack for structural improvements. We specialize in the historic preservation of residential homes and commercial properties in the greater Portland area. We enjoy creating new living spaces and performing structural repairs and upgrades for our clients. We like demanding projects that are unique like shoring, rigging, house lifting, excavation, water proofing, foundations and structural rough framing, etc.
The candidate: An experienced quality rough carpenter eager to perform at their best capability. Ready to apply new building techniques and be challenged along the way. * 10 + years experience.
* Rough carpentry talent in both interior and exterior environments. Structural framing oriented.
* All around construction knowledge and safety awareness.
* Proper tool arsenal for someone with your experience and wage expectations.
* Valid ODL and reliable transportation.
* Can lead a small crew, teach laborers to perform their duties and supervise their progress. A team player.
* Able to read and execute architectural and structural engineering plans.
* Dependable. Shows up to work on time and daily.
* Excellent communication, quick learner, innovative thinker and positive attitude.
* Detail oriented, organized and accurate.
* Excellent customer service.
* Does not shy away from duties outside your skillset. The broom, shovel as well as misc. shop time are part of the job.
