As a Hospitality Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of property upkeep while delivering exceptional service. The primary work location is the JUSTIN Estate at 11680 Chimney Rock Road, Paso Robles. However, you must be flexible to work at any of our Paso Robles locations based on business and project needs.
Job Description
- Responsible for assisting with the service and repair of equipment, facilities, and guest requests or concerns
- Performs a wide variety of general and semi-skilled maintenance activities and duties (e.g. HVAC, carpentry, painting, plumbing, basic electrical)
- Installs system component parts, office equipment and facility components (e.g. lighting, heating and ventilating systems, alarms, plumbing, security, and electrical panels)
- Responsible for monitoring the work order system and completing work orders as assigned
- Maintains assigned vehicle, tools and equipment in safe operating condition
- Monitors contractors to ensure work is completed properly, efficiently and meets JUSTIN’s safety standards
- Responds to emergency maintenance situations as assigned
- Follows all company policies and works in a safe and efficient manner
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in facility maintenance; hotel/hospitality maintenance highly preferred; winery maintenance experience is a plus, but not required
- Valid CA driver's license and an acceptable driving record required - a background check will be conducted
- Forklift license or ability to achieve licensing is required
- Must have the ability to work any day of the week and travel to Napa or Sonoma sites as needed
- Knowledge of servicing HVAC systems such as AC units and heaters
- Skilled in electrical safety and knowledge of basic electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair common hospitality equipment and general maintenance of commercial buildings
- Must be self-motived and have the ability to work effectively as a member of a team
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English; conversational Spanish highly desirable
- Requires the ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and meet physical demands of position such as walking, standing, lifting 50 pounds or more, climbing ladders and stairs, bending, squatting, and crawling in tight spaces to access work sites safely
Pay Range: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills and experience.
