IT Concepts, Inc. (ITC) is seeking an experienced
ServiceNow Architect to lead and support the development of HRSD-related functions to support our VA End-user Business Operations contract. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in IT management with expertise in the ServiceNow platform. This role requires exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The VA TXP ServiceNow Architect will oversee the architecture and design of the TXP program in ServiceNow HRSD.
The Human Resources Line of Business (HR LOB) program is an exciting opportunity to assist VA, GSA, and its customers in transforming how they deliver HR services. This builds on IBM's Federal HR Line of Business offering and positions IBM as the leading private sector HR shared services provider supporting the US Federal Government.
To strengthen its focus on its core missions, the agencies decided to divest technology services related to HR LOB Shared Services and procure the services of IBM's HR LOB Shared Services Center (SSC). IBM has migrated VA, GSA, and GSA's 32 external customers to its HR LOB solution, including both HR and time and attendance (T&A) systems. The solution is built on the Oracle PeopleSoft platform and continues expanding its footprint with new modules and federal agencies.
The Talent Experience Platform (TXP) is an IBM solution under the VA's HR LOB program built with ServiceNow HRSD and IBM AI optimizers that provides an experience layer that augments and enhances HR Smart and other VA HR systems while also deploying case management and knowledge management features to provide a more personalized experience for employees and managers.
Responsibilities: - Solution Design
- Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure HRSD solutions that meet agency requirements.
- Create detailed documentation for HRSD solutions, including, but not limited to, graphical solution representations and written solution descriptions, and facilitate / support solution delivery.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in HRSD practices and technologies for solution integration.
- Identify risk areas in HRSD solutions and provide risk mitigation recommendations for implementation.
- Lead technical teams in implementing HRSD solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and business objectives.
- Training and Mentorship
- Determine and facilitate relevant training for junior professionals and users across agency contracts.
- Provide mentorship for HRSD professionals.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with leaders, managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
- Build relationships with partners, vendors, agency stakeholders, and Business Operations teammates to enhance effective delivery of solutions and implementation of HRSD requirements.
- Compliance & Reporting
- Develop and recommend IT standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Understand agency compliance and reporting requirements as a part of developing solutions within the VA IT environment.
- Ensure solutions are compliant with the requisite regulations and applicable industry standards.
- Thought Leadership
- Remain abreast of market trends and new technologies for possible integration or enhancements into solutions.
Location: This position can be performed remotely and will support Eastern Time working hours.
Requirements - 5+ years of architect and design ServiceNow HRSD solutions
- 5+ years of lead implementations of ServiceNow HRSD solutions
- 8+ years of engagement with client stakeholders and customers to determine solution requirements and improvements
- 5+ years of engagement with client executives to generate roadmaps and recommendations
- 5+ years of creating roadmaps for technical offering growth and innovation
- Understand and design integrations and interfaces with other systems
- Understand and design data models
- Excellent customer relationship management skills, including effective oral and written communications
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Skills: - ServiceNow HRSD Certification
- Understanding of other ServiceNow products
- Understanding other HR technologies (PeopleSoft HCM, Cornerstone On Demand, etc.)
- Understanding of Agile development methodology and willingness to knowledge transfer
- Experience with Federal agencies, their requirements, and their workflows
- Master's degree
