Position Summary This is a full-time (academic year appointment) clinical faculty position for the College of Law's Boise location, at the rank of Assistant Clinical Professor. The faculty member in this position will be an integral part of the legal writing faculty team. This faculty member will be responsible for teaching up to two sections each semester of the College's first-year legal writing course and will work collaboratively with the other legal writing faculty members to develop the course curriculum and major writing assignments. After the first year, the faculty member will also teach an additional course, dependent on areas of interest and the College's curricular needs. The faculty member will also conduct outreach, attend faculty meetings, and serve on committees at the University and/or College level.

Qualifications
Minimum Education/Degree Required Listed degree qualification is required at time of application.
Required Qualifications - J.D. from an accredited school or the equivalent.
- At least three years of post-J.D. practice, clerking, or teaching experience.
- Experienced in legal research and writing skills.
- Experience teaching, or related experience.
- Experience creating a welcoming and dynamic learning environment for all students.
Preferred Qualifications - Successful completion of the bar exam in at least one U.S. state.
- A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others.
