Job descriptionUnited States - Guarantee the very best quality of the Planon software for our customers! You do this by advising, guiding and helping your clients with the management of their Planon application both on site and remotely.
In this position you will be an Application Manager helping our clients with the functional management of the Planon software. You will be part of an international team that helps a very diverse set of clients, mainly in United States.
You will build relationships with your clients and help them solve incidents, implement changes and provide support for new releases. You will also guide your clients in the use of the application, give them advice and try to spot opportunities to help them further in the use of Planon.
Questions you may receive as Application Manager range from "How can I create a reservation system for my staff?" to, for example, "How can we best gain insight into the occupancy of our office buildings?".
Your key responsibilities will include:- Managing, maintaining, and optimizing Planon setups, including authorizations and data archiving.
- Identifying opportunities for improvements or new projects based on client needs and software updates.
- Creating and maintaining documentation and user instructions.
Training clients on Planon functionalities through hands-on guidance. - Collaborating with local and international teams to ensure consistent client support and project execution.
- Reporting risks and opportunities to Project Managers, Services Management, and Account Managers.
- Leading by example in adopting new technologies and methodologies introduced by Planon.

Our ideal candidate meets the following requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field of IT or similar (or Facility Management in combination with IT affinity);
- Relevant working experience in a (similar) IT role.
- Knowledge of methodologies such as ITIL, BISL or similar is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication in English. French proficiency is beneficial for effective communication with our Quebec/Canada customers, improving service delivery in the region.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to think strategically and provide solutions that align with client needs and Planon's objectives.
- Boston-based is preferred, not a requirement.
