How you will make an impact:The
Senior Director of Finance Operations & Strategy is a critical leadership role responsible for driving financial strategy, overseeing strategic projects, and aligning financial planning with business objectives. This position combines expertise in finance, project management, and strategic planning to optimize performance, ensure successful execution of key initiatives, and provide actionable insights to executive leadership. The ideal candidate will lead a high-performing team, establish a robust project management function, and partner with stakeholders to enhance financial decision-making and operational efficiency, ensuring the organization's sustainable growth and success.
Strategic Finance Leadership:
- Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the organization's long-term objectives.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team for informed decision-making.
- Lead the preparation and analysis of financial forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Lead the development of robust FP&A processes to support business growth and scalability.
- Analyze business performance and provide actionable insights to drive profitability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate financial risks.
Business Partnership:
- Serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing financial guidance and support for strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement financial strategies for new projects and investments.
- Communicate financial performance and strategic recommendations to senior leadership team.
PMO Oversight / Contracts Team:
- Oversee the execution of key initiatives, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
- Develop frameworks, methodologies, and tools to enhance project management capabilities across the organization.
- Monitor project performance and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Lead the Contracts Management team and coordinate source to pay across the business unit.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing team of finance professionals and project managers.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Provide mentorship and career development opportunities to team members.
What you'll need (Required):- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance OR
- Master's Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
What else we look for (Preferred):- Minimum of 15 years of experience
- Strategic thinking with a focus on execution and results
- Proven successful project management and leadership skills
- Expert understanding of financial procedures while looking beyond existing methodologies and own discipline to define and resolve complex problems
- Demonstrated ability to direct teams and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations
- Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of finance to the business
- Excellent presentation skills and experience presenting information using numbers and responding to questions from key stakeholders.

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $169,000 to $240,000 (highly experienced).
