Your Role on the TeamResponsible for reviewing FM Project Services historical data, providing complex trend analysis, and summarizing information for project budgets and various financial reports. Performs regular, ongoing analysis of the FM Project Services recharge account, to ensure all revenues and expenses are being properly booked to the appropriate account(s). Provide workload projections in order to help FM Project Services managers determine staffing needs for future periods. Responsible for financial oversight of a capital projects renovation portfolio of 250 to 300 projects, with a budget of ~$285 million. Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet those goals. Responsible for supervising the day-to-day unit activities. Normally directs a section or group of budget / financial / resources analysts. Oversees and participates in the most complex projects and deals directly with major department managers. Provides direction according to established policies and management guidance. Supervises activities associated with creating, maintaining and reporting on the capital budgets and budget processes.

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $94,400.00 to $130,000.00 (Annually)Required:- Extensive knowledge of finance policies, practices and systems, budgeting and reporting techniques, accounting and bookkeeping. Advanced skills in the use of spreadsheet and database software. Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
- Solid understanding of financial and resource planning concepts as well as how to control organizational budgeting. Demonstrated skill in financial analysis and management of a multimillion-dollar budget with multiple account and fund sources. Ability to prepare and present materials to internal and external constituents.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Good written and verbal communication skills in English, including good grammar, spelling, and editing. Ability to write concise, logical, grammatically correct analytical reports and procedural documents, as well as routine business correspondence
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across the organization at all levels. Ability to maintain a positive attitude and contribute both as an individual and a team member to achieve the goals of the department. Client services oriented; has good listening, communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to deal with changing priorities and direct the work of others accordingly. Ability to multi-task. Ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a variety of work environments, including those involving frequent interruptions, changing priorities, and multiple deadlines. Ability to respond with flexibility, organization, and efficiency to frequent changes in task focus and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of internal control practices and their impact on protecting University resources. Ability to independently identify problems, research and analyze information, find and evaluate alternative solutions, make final recommendations, implement solutions, and evaluate results
- A minimum of 7 years of experience In an accounting and finance field
