Responsibilities:
-Perform geotechnical drilling, including Hollow Stem Auger (HSA), Mud Rotary, and Rock Coring
-Install monitoring wells, water wells, and geotechnical instruments such as slope inclinometers and standpipe piezometers
-Conduct barge drilling operations as needed
-Operate and maintain equipment, including vertical drills, excavators, and tractor trailers
-Transport equipment to and from job sites, ensuring safe and efficient setup and teardown
-Collaborate with engineers and project managers to collect and deliver accurate soil and rock samples
-Prepare and inspect drilling machinery, ensuring it is in good working condition before each job
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment on-site
-Provide support in troubleshooting and performing minor equipment repairs
-Maintain detailed records of samples, materials used, and project progress
Requirements:
-3+ years of experience in construction/drilling
-Experience with Hollow Stem Auger (HSA), Mud Rotary, and Rock Coring drilling techniques
-Ability to lead a project from start to finish
-CDL license or willingness to obtain
-Physically fit to lift 50+ lbs. and work outdoors year-round, including on steep terrain
-Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
