Position Summary
The National Manager – Dynamic X Performance (DXP) is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and execution of Life Time’s newest athletic performance training brand. This role will oversee the launch of Dynamic X Performance (DXP), beginning in a single pilot location before scaling nationwide to every Life Time destination. The National Manager will be accountable for building, optimizing, and standardizing all aspects of the program, including curriculum development, coaching education, revenue performance, and member engagement.
The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Athletic Performance Training, strength and conditioning, and sports science, combined with a strong background in business development, team leadership, and operational excellence. This role requires a dynamic leader who can translate high-performance training methodologies into scalable, results-driven programming that serves both youth and adult athletes seeking to improve their fitness, sports performance, and injury prevention.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Lead the national launch and expansion of Dynamic X Performance (DXP), beginning with a single pilot location and scaling to all Life Time locations.
- Develop and implement the DXP training methodology, ensuring it aligns with industry best practices in athletic performance, strength and conditioning, and injury prevention.
- Cast and Train a best-in-class team of Performance Coaches to deliver world-class training experiences
- Establish and standardize program delivery, creating a structured curriculum that maintains consistency and excellence across all locations.
- Oversee financial performance, including pricing strategy, revenue goals, and profitability.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including club leadership, Personal Training, Group Training, and Life Time Sport, to integrate DXP seamlessly into the broader Life Time ecosystem
- Develop and execute national marketing strategies, in partnership with our marketing team driving awareness, membership conversion, and retention.
- Leverage data analytics to track program success, measure athlete progress, and continually optimize performance training outcomes.
- Stay ahead of industry trends by incorporating cutting-edge techniques, technology, and innovations in performance training.
- Foster a high-performance culture, ensuring that DXP is recognized as the premier destination for athletic development and sports performance training.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Proven experience launching or scaling sports performance programs or fitness brands.
- Certification from a recognized performance training organization (e.g., CSCS, NASM-PES, USAW, EXOS, etc.).
- Strong business acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth and program success.
- Exceptional leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to develop and mentor a team of performance professionals.
- Experience working with youth, collegiate, and/or professional athletes is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of biomechanics, periodization, and injury prevention strategies.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate the challenges of launching a new brand and scaling it across a national footprint.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Strength & Conditioning, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Years of Experience:
- 5+ years of leadership experience in Athletic Performance Training, Strength & Conditioning, or a related discipline.

Pay
This is a salaried position starting at $70,000.00 and pays up to $97,000.00, based on experience and qualifications.Benefits
