Senior Manager, Supply Chain
Summary: Effectively manages a team of supply-chain resources to successfully drive the necessary behaviors and results which achieve MACOM’s overall supply chain objectives. Has the ability to manage this activity with little guidance and/or direction from others.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor staff of supply chain planners, managers and warehouse personnel.
- Manage all activities related to supply planning, including the management of backlog to ensure that customers’ delivery commitments and corporate revenue objectives are met.
- Monitor capacity to ensure sufficient capacity is available to support Master Production Plan.
- Optimize production efficiency and meeting customer demands by developing production plans, managing inventory, and coordinating with various departments to ensure timely and cost-effective production.
- Develop strategies to optimize capacity utilization and address capacity limitations.
- Oversee the logistics process, from receiving and storing to picking, packing, and shipping.
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and minimize costs.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, inventory turnover, and on-time delivery.

- Has demonstrated successful results managing a supply chain team.
- Strong business acumen along with excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Must be able to manage, motivate and energize direct reports, suppliers and other key stakeholders.
- Must be a leader of change and be able to gain consensus on how to drive process change to improve business results.
- Must possess the ability to develop schedules to meet specific objectives, establish priorities
- Willingness to make decisions without hesitation and getting things done in a timely fashion with sense of urgency
- Has a strong ability to proactively identify, communicate and apply problem solving techniques
- Has the ability to successfully process map new supply chain supplier/customer solutions ensuring full ERP/Inventory transactions are executed successfully.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree &/or relevant work experience with demonstrated abilities/knowledge for this specific role
- Minimum 3 years of experience of managing and/or supervising people ideally specific to supply chain activities.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in planning &/or supply chain management
- Strong ERP system management experience with the ability of defining best practices to setup and maintain key supply chain traceability. (preferably SAP, Oracle and/or other well-known ERP platforms)
- Strong Computer literacy, particularly in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint & word)
