Who you are:- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing education.
- Must have current active, unencumbered RN license in the State of Oregon.
- Current BLS CPR certification preferred.
- Experience in the care of the geriatric resident as evidenced by previous work experience is preferred.
QualificationsEssential Job Duties:- Supervises nursing personnel on all shifts. Participates in staffing, scheduling, counseling, orientation, and evaluation of nursing staff.
- Plans and guides the professional development of the nursing staff, monitor and evaluate the staff and make recommendations for training. Includes development of yearly training/in-service schedule for nursing staff.
- Provides specific orientation to Health Center nursing staff.
- Ensures annual competency evaluations and performance evaluations are completed in a timely manner.
- Responsible for education related to Infection Control Program.
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities assigned by Director of Nursing.
