As an IT Applications Specialist, you will support various applications at different sites within the Business Unit, including but not limited to ERP, Quality Systems, and Salesforce. Your role involves adhering to compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements and supporting the company's strategic goals. You will manage IT applications, ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements, and support the company's strategic goals through effective IT management.
Key Responsibilities - Update price increases, cost updates, and cycle counts using SQL.
- Ensure adherence to SOX compliance.
- Manage approvals for new software/hardware from corporate (backlog/new).
- Update SSRS/Crystal reports and SQL procedures.
- Provide software support for ERP, Docuware, EDI, quality, and engineering systems.
- Manage disaster recovery for critical systems (ERP and Document Management).
- Be involved in new software projects: eCommerce SAP, QT9 (QMS system), SAP S4 HANA.
- Research, recommend, and implement process improvements.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of hardware, network, and software.
- Serve as backup for the Help Desk support queue (hardware, software).
- Assist in automation using corporate-approved tools.
- Conduct annual attestation to IT policies and procedures, ensuring SOX compliance.
- Submit quarterly IT-CMS attestation to system changes (reporting objects, system updates).
- Review and sign off on credit card charges monthly.
- Ensure adherence to systems quality compliance.
Requirements For Consideration - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5 years of related technical experience in the IT field.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- Technical expertise with Windows-based servers, clients, email, office productivity tools, and integrated ERP systems.
- Demonstrated history of successful implementations of major business applications, such as ERP systems, using project management tools and skills.
- Strong working knowledge of IT applications such as ERP and collaborative software.
- Proficiency in MSSQL and MySQL.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong systems analysis skills.
- Experience with Docuware Forms and Workflows.
- Proficiency in SSRS and Crystal Reports.
- Experience with VMWare and Veeam.
- Knowledge of Salesforce.
- Proficiency in EDI.
