What You'll Do: - Architect and Design: Develop RF circuitry for high frequency and microwave applications, including receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers.
- Prototype and Test: Handle hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, and testing.
- Prepare Specifications: Create test methods and specifications, analyze and test RF hardware to verify performance characteristics.
- Support Product Development: Provide inputs for formal documentation and support manufacturing during assembly and test phases.
- Develop Architectures: Design RF System/Subsystem Architectures, including antennas, transmitters, receivers, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements, and transmission line equipment.
- Optimize Performance: Perform link analysis and optimization, considering propagation medium effects and interference sources.
- Allocate Requirements: Develop and allocate RF system and subsystem functional and performance requirements, tracking RF technical performance measurements (TPMs).
- Conduct Trade Studies: Perform RF system/subsystem/component trade studies and CAIV analysis, supporting Life Cycle Costs, reliability, availability, and maintainability analysis.
What You Bring: - Active Secret Clearance
- Experience: Proven experience with RF design and troubleshooting skills.
- Technical Skills: Experience testing and debugging electronics/circuit cards.
- MATLAB Proficiency: Prior experience with MATLAB.
- Lab Tools Familiarity: Familiarity with common laboratory engineering tools, including logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, digital multi-meters, and other support equipment.
- An ACTIVE U.S. Government Security Clearance is Required to be considered for this role.
